Cradle of Innovation
Conceived as a film production and digital film consultancy, Eyebrid Blaze Ltd was created to provide the Founder with a commercial infrastructure to work as an independent film Director. Founded in 2003, the company was instantly approached by the internationally acclaimed and award-winning animation company, Bolex Brothers, who were in early stage development of an animated feature which they wanted to produce digitally. Eyebrid Blaze provided the Bolex Brothers with the documented 'know-how' to make a digital film for cinema presentation, and in the process, identified a gap in the digital photographic technology.

The South West Regional Development Agency heard of the potential innovation and invited Eyebrid Blaze to apply for a Research and Development Grant. In 2004, Eyebrid Blaze was awarded £15K, three months later, the Bolex Brothers approved a prototype and invested £30K to develop the 'Digimator' to full specification. Once the Digimator technology had reached full development, Eyebrid Blaze was approached by 'Cosgrove Hall Films' and in 2007, Cosgrove Hall Films purchased eight Digimator systems for their production of the 'Rupert the Bear' HDTV series, for Channel 5.

The Digimator experience cultivated a wealth of business development skills, and had created a new direction for the company. In 2008, Eyebrid Blaze refreshed it's vision and ethos and later that year, won the Technology Strategy Board Creative Industries Innovation Award it's New Media concept "The 51st Floor". Based on a storyline for a feature film and TV Drama written by Darrel J Butlin, Eyebrid Blaze is now focused on the 51st Floor project; a concept with huge commercial significance and the potential to deliver positive social benefits at a global scale.
